Today, I am very excited to share with you a recent elevator project we completed in Jeddah. This is the result of our long-term partnership with a local elevator dealer. We provided them with a custom solution, designing and manufacturing an elevator that met their needs, and finally adding their brand logo before delivering it.
Project Background
Since we have been working with this partner for a long time, the project background was clear from the start. The three-story villa in Jeddah needed an elevator, and our goal was to provide a solution that not only met space requirements but also offered a comfortable experience. As the market’s demand for energy efficiency, quiet operation, and accessibility features continues to grow, our design team started working on these specific challenges.
The key requirements from the customer were: the elevator should be as quiet as possible, it must have an accessible design, and it should blend with the modern style of the villa. At the same time, space was an important factor we had to consider. While the villa’s design was very modern, the space for the elevator shaft was limited, so we needed to ensure the elevator design was efficient and made the most of every inch of space.
Our Solution
After several detailed discussions, we confirmed the customer’s main needs: energy efficiency and quiet operation, accessibility (especially for wheelchairs), and the elevator’s design should match the villa’s modern style. To meet these needs, we decided to use a permanent magnet gearless traction machine, which is very quiet and can save up to 40% more energy compared to traditional elevators. This efficient system ensures the elevator runs smoothly while helping the customer save on energy costs, meeting their environmental and long-term usage goals.

From Discussion to Design Details:
In one of our meetings, the customer mentioned a family member who had difficulty moving. Considering this, we focused on making the elevator more accessible. When designing the doors, we decided to use a split double-fold door design, which widened the door opening to 70 centimeters, allowing wheelchairs to pass through easily. This design not only solved the accessibility issue but also made the door operation more flexible, optimizing the use of space.
Machine Room-Less Design:
The customer also clearly stated that the elevator needed to save space and avoid taking up additional room for a machine room. So, we designed a machine room-less elevator. This design does not require a traditional machine room, saving more space on each floor. By using this design, we made sure the elevator would perform well while maximizing the use of every floor space, avoiding wasted space.
Balancing Appearance and Function:
The appearance of the elevator was another key point in our discussions with the customer. They wanted the elevator to blend seamlessly with the villa’s modern style. We chose a classic black color, which made the elevator look sleek and elegant and matched the surrounding environment. Additionally, we carefully planned the elevator’s size: 1.3 meters wide, 1.6 meters deep, and 1.9 meters high. This ensured the elevator was practical and comfortable to use.
Project Summary
This project was more than just an elevator installation; it was the result of our many years of collaboration with the Jeddah elevator dealer. We customized an energy-efficient, quiet, and accessible elevator solution based on the customer’s needs. Each conversation with the customer helped us better understand market demands, customer needs, and design innovation. This project proves our expertise in custom elevator solutions and strengthens our confidence in long-term partnerships with customers.
