Located in Penang, Malaysia, this project involved the modernization of five Toshiba elevators, each with a speed of 2.5m/s. These elevators had been in operation for over 15 years and were due for an upgrade in 2023. We were actively involved in the on-site commissioning process to ensure everything was running smoothly.
During the modernization, we discovered significant wear on the mechanical parts, which extended the overall project timeline. Despite these challenges, we remained committed to delivering a fully updated and high-performing system. In the end, the elevators were successfully modernized and handed over to the customer, meeting all their expectations.
