For more than five years, BDFUJI have worked with a very reliable local distributor. Together, we have completed 46 elevator modernization and installation projects.
About Customer
Like many growing elevator companies in Indonesia, our customer needed elevators that were both modern and reliable. Some of their older elevators required upgrades, while new buildings needed brand-new installations.
They were looking for a partner who could not only deliver high-quality elevators, but also provide hotel elevator modernization solutions and long-term support. That is how we met and began our long-term partnership.

About Project
When we first received this project, we had a detailed talk with the customer to understand their needs, budget, and schedule.
Our partner explained that the customer wanted to renovate the elevator cab and fix issues caused by an aging traction system—mainly noise during operation and unstable starts and stops.
Hotel Elevator Modernization Solution in Indonesia
After careful discussion, we created a modernization plan focused on two key areas: the traction system and the cab interior.
To solve the noise and unstable ride, we began with the traction system. The worn traction sheave and ropes were replaced, along with the motor bearings that caused most of the humming noise. We also installed new machine pads to reduce vibration in the shaft. A VVVF drive with encoder feedback was added, and we fine-tuned the settings—adjusting the acceleration curve, jerk limits, and leveling accuracy—to ensure smooth starts and stops.
At the same time, we carried out a cab refurbishment. Old panels were replaced with new stainless-steel finishes, LED ceiling lights were added, and a durable stone-pattern floor was installed. These upgrades gave passengers a ride that is quiet, smooth, and safe, while also making the cab look bright, clean, and modern.
